On Borrowed Time

HFCC Overcomes Weak, Hackneyed Script

Richard Marsh Dearborn Press and Guide August 1987

The biggest problem Henry Ford Community College faced with its production of On Borrowed Time last weekend was the script itself. The play, written during the first part of the century, is hackneyed and difficult to digest, particularly the first act. The cast crew did a magnificent job of making the show worthwhile, despite long periods of tedium in the dialogue
