Spring Classes Start May 10, 2005 Register Now!
Henry Ford Community College Fine Arts and Fitness Department will offer several theater and speech classes, Spring and Summer semesters, 2005.
The Spring Semester runs from May 10-June 27, 2005.
STH 131.Theater Appreciation, will be offered MTWTH from 9:35 am to 11:05 am. The class is highly transferable and is a survey course covering theatrical design, history, production, performance and musical theater. The course is taught by HFCC Director of Theater, Dr Popovich.
SPC 131. Fundamentals of Speaking. This introductory Speech course is ideal for those wishing to acquire ease in speaking to groups at the workplace or social functions. The course is highly transferable and is usually a general education requirement at most four-year schools. Dr. George Popovich will teach the course on MTWR from 11:40 AM-1:10 PM and on MTWR from 1:35 PM-3:05 PM. For a schedule of additional speech classes, please visit: http://www.hfcc.net/
STH 133, Technical Theater and STH 233 Advanced Technical Theater, will be offered TBA and taught by HFCC Theater Technical Director Gerry Dzuiblinski. These classes will supply the lights, scenery, and sound for the HFCC Theater Arts Spring production New Playwrights Workshop. Persons interested in being on the technical crew for New Playwrights Workshop should call Dzuiblinski at 313-845-9817. STH 142, Theatrical Production and STH 242, Advanced Theatrical Production, and STH 259, Experimental Theater production will be offered MTWTH 7:25-10:05 PM. Dzuiblinski will also teach STH 143: Rotating Tech Skills (MTWTH 7:25-10:05 PM) in con junction with New Playwrights Workshop Persons involved with performance aspects of New Playwrights Workshop will enroll in one of these courses. Persons interested in performance aspects of New Playwrights Workshop should call Gerry Dzuiblinski at 313-845-9817. Duzuiblinski will also teach a Voice class TWR from 5:35PM-7:30 PM.
